We're back (again)!!
After a second (what seems like) endless Lockdown, were so happy that we're back in the studio this week just in time to spread some festive joy!
Keep an eye out for updates on classes and our Covid-19 policies as well as upcoming workshops and Christmas fun that will be coming your way throughout December!
Some spooky fun
Although we may not have been able to celebrate Halloween in the usual way this year, there were definitely some treats in store for our members!
With 30 hours of ghoulish fun to be had throughout the half term, there was something for everyone from Addams Family workshops to Halloween crafternoons.
We had so much fun and loved seeing all our members get into the spirit of the holiday with their scary costumes!
APG Online extravaganza!
Our Advanced Performance Group put on an online performance to end all online performances this week! Over the 40 minute performance, audiences were treated to some group amazing numbers from all the members. On top of that, there were some special solo vocal and dance performances from a select few of the performers.
For many member, this was their last performance with Next Gen before they move onto new adventures in training and education.
Head to our Facebook page to watch the performance and hear some memories and highlights, spanning across as many as 10 year, from our 2020 leavers.
We're so excited to be getting back into a new year of amazing classes at our studios. Although things may be different to how we left them, we have hit the ground running with all of our weekly classes, including a brand new class for this year!
We are very excited to announce the addition of a new class to our regular schedule. We are now running an extra Intermediate Musical Theatre class on Tuesday evenings. This class it open to new members and members who currently attend our Intermediate classes who want to further progress their training.
After being closed for over six months due to Covid-19, Woodend Studios were once again alive with our members taking part in our socially distanced summer workshops. Over the month we had workshops for all ages in many difference aspects of theatre from workshops to develop script writing skills to acting for screen. For some of the workshops we had the pleasure of inviting industry professionals to help the members develop their skills and have the chance to work with West End performers.
It was so exciting getting back to what we love and we can't wait to welcome all of our members back in Septemeber for what we know will be an amazing year of classes and workshops!
